I like the idea behind this picture but not quite sure if I like the way this picture was executed. The general look of this image makes me feel like I fell from this tree, and it hurt like hell so everything else looks wrong and weird. What I really dont like is how everything is curved in a different direction. When you fall from a tree, you hit your head. everything spins. I just wish it was a little more realistic and spinning in the same direction. I also think, (this is just my opinion) that you should have left the tree in color but desaturated the rest of the image. I love this photo, its very beautiful just a few minor things that throw me off when concentrating on this image.
What do you think?

It doesn't even look real. It looks as if it was pulled from a dream. Every picture you have is magical.

Interesting how the tree doesn't seem to catch up with the speed! I don't know how you did it, but it's certainly a nice effect!

I love the colors and overall feel the picture gives; along with how there is one single tree that stands out. The background looks like a painting and moves in different directions. I can't help ponder whether you were
1. trying to make it look as if one has fallen out of the tree
2. time is moving on behind the tree
or 3. capturing the rays of lights that go into the tree
I'm quite curious. :iconwhatsthatplz:

That's a great photo! Can I ask how you made such an effect? Was the tree flashed and then the angle of camera changed?

well executed into a photograph mostly impossible to capture, i like how the direction on the background and remaining the focus of details for the tree. this reminds of brush stroke for paintings, giving envision of movement, quick and instant for a minute.

I really enjoy this piece, makes me think of the steadfastness of that tree as the world spins around it, speaking to me on the importance of being firmly rooted in life, built upon a strong foundation. It is really quite beautiful, and a wonderful artistic statement by my interpretation.
