Such a beautiful sky over an equally spectacular forest. The mist over the water gives the work a refreshing feel as well. The land across from the lake makes for a great separator between the sky above and the work below. I enjoy how focused the image is, so that I can make out the shrubs and the grains in the rock and dirt. The sun looks rather funny in this image, as though it poked a hole in the sky just to peek through.
After a bit of a closer look, I found the colour of the sky to be a bit odd as well. Not in the colour itself, but in the gradient among the blues. The top part, in particular, looks like a weird splatter.
