Love this photograph... it's just so perfect in composition, colours, light and shade that at first I thought it must have been a painting. Amazing how you caught the sunlight and sharp details of the trees on the small island, yet the forest in the backround remains shrowded in mist. Same for the reflections on the water. The colours are beautiful, too... the blues of the water blending in with the greens and yellows of the forest through the ripples, which in turn blend with the pales colours of the sky through the mist. It all looks very serene... a beautiful place that would make you feel very peaceful, and lucky to be there. Congratulations on a brilliant photograph, and on this whole Misty Lake series.
Dear heavens, this is a photo? It looks like a masterful painting. It is exquisite in colour, subject, lighting. I don't think many can make a photo look like a brilliant painting, gorgeous. Thanks for liking my River.
