From the bright orange to the deep green at the top, this photo has great flow, contrast, texture, and color. At the bottom, with the grainy texture of the smaller pebbles being directly under the smooth and free flowing water creates a very distinct contrast between the two textures- something that can be, without the correct composition and technique, damn near impossible to execute so clearly. As the eye is drawn down the stream, the viewer sees drawn a bridge that redirects the eyes through the forest which is full of very sharp lines and different shades of green that contrast greatly with the bright orange of the pebbles. This forest, with its very sharp lines and harsh edges also contrasts greatly with the free flowing and very smooth texture of the stream.

In all, the composition of this photo is very excellent with great technique and creates a great sense of place that truly makes the viewer feel like they can hear the stream and smell the air.
