This picture is truly excellent. The bright oranges contrast smoothly with the stream, drawing the attention of the beholder and bringing out the greens of the forest, further expressing both the freedom and content felt from this photograph. The contrasting colors increases the details noticed in the leaves and the texture brought shown of the rocks in the water bring the feeling as if the on-looker is there themself, breathing in the sent of the outdoors and hearing the water flowing beside them.
This is a well taken photo, capturing both the natural beauty of the woods and the touch of man.
From the bright orange to the deep green at the top, this photo has great flow, contrast, texture, and color. At the bottom, with the grainy texture of the smaller pebbles being directly under the smooth and free flowing water creates a very distinct contrast between the two textures- something that can be, without the correct composition and technique, damn near impossible to execute so clearly. As the eye is drawn down the stream, the viewer sees drawn a bridge that redirects the eyes through the forest which is full of very sharp lines and different shades of green that contrast greatly with the bright orange of the pebbles. This forest, with its very sharp lines and harsh edges also contrasts greatly with the free flowing and very smooth texture of the stream.
In all, the composition of this photo is very excellent with great technique and creates a great sense of place that truly makes the viewer feel like they can hear the stream and smell the air.
Truly an amazing shot here. I love seeing astounding places and how people capture them. Some of the pieces I have seen no one has said where they are which is a shame. I'm glad you wrote where this was taken. ^^
