Hello!
First, I think I talk about the vision. The blurriness of the background does add impact to the tree in the focus, but it also make the picture confusing and messy. It's so messy that people may even get distracted from the main point, the tree.
Next, this is pretty original! Very great focus on the tree, and the name is nice. The background shades are colourful tones which match well, so good job!
I am not very familiar with all this Photoshop thingies, but I think you must have been quite good at this to be able to make those hues at the back.
Your impact is totally amazing! It is strong and obvious that the background pulses so strongly, so well done!

Fantastic piece overall!
Hope this helps..

I have to disagree with ~Turtrox's critique, I don't think it's messy or distracting at all. ;)
Of course the subject in itself is one of my favorites, so perhaps I am biased! :lmao:

I really enjoy the "painterly" effect of the blurred background, and the graceful bifurcation of the composition by the tree - just enough of an organic curve so it's not a harsh verticle.

The rich golds and cool blues are glorious, and work well together. The hint of green reminds us this is a living landscape, but the image remains playful, rather than a rote landscape photo.

This is a marriage of painting and photography, as equal partners. I hope you will experiment with this approach again!

Hi, nice to meet you!:-) This one is one of my favourite kind of pictures! Really a great technique. What more can I say? I do not get how you managed to keep the tree still:-) I would like to write more, but

I find it hard to tell you what I think because I am not very fluent!:-) Sorry!:-)
